Lincoln towncars have some parts that are specific to the 1991 and 1992
model year. And some of these parts are also used in the 1992 crown
victoria and mercury grand marquis.
On the left is the plastic 7-groove power steering pump pulley that was
used in the 1991 towncar. Note that the center hub that connects to the
pump shaft is metal.

The hose on the top is from a 1991 lincoln towncar. The electrical
switch on the pressure hose is to raise the idle speed so that the
engine doesn't stall when the car is moving slowly and you turn the
steering wheel.
The hose at the bottom is a new aftermarket pressure hose.

Here is the belt tensioner from a 1991 towncar. The front timing cover
in the 1991-1992 towncar didn't have any mouting bosses for the
tensioner like the later cars do. And the tensioner assembly connected
directly to the studs which hold the front timing cover onto the
engine. The bracket at the top of this assembly is for mounting the
ignition coil packs.

Aftermarket replacement tensioners for the early 1991-1992 vehicles
have an additional idler pulley that the original oem unit didn't.
